Android 惡意應用日增，增長速度勝過 Windows

智能手機及平板的普及，令 Android 的市佔率愈來愈高，但同時間惡意應用也隨著普及率而增加。根據防毒軟件公司 Trend Micro 的最新報告指出，過去一年 Android 的應用威脅大幅成長，已變成了一個極度容易被攻擊的平台，比起過往 Windows 易受攻擊的速度增長率更高。

Trend Micro 在最新的報告上說明了 Android 如何對用家造成威脅。在過去一年內，惡意應用、病毒及廣告等隨 App 而進入到各用家上，並且見到有上升趨勢，在統計中見到，上年 3 月時只有少數的應用是有問題的，但到了上年底，已提升至 350,000 個左右，並預計今年底會突破 100 萬。

而最大問題的三類型應用是廣告、服務濫用及資料盜取，由於 Android 屬於較為開放，可自行安裝 App，並且透過 Root 機取得更高權限，也間接令 App 有機可乘，製造更多的網絡犯罪。透過有問題的 App，可以盜取電話號碼、短訊內容、IMEI、IMSI、地點、電話簿名單等個人資料。

在統計中，亦有列出較為多人「中招」的國家，印度居於首位，連香港也排行第九。由於 Android 安裝 App 十分容易，也沒有太多人留意 App 安裝時所需要的權限，往往令用家「中招」而不知道。此情況比起過往使用 Windows 時被盜取資料更加危險，而且增長速度也比起 Windows 高。Trend Micro 建議 Android 內建的安全設定功能，但 Android 除了一項不明來源下載外實際上沒有太多選項。我們唯一的做法不要將大多的私人資料、密碼等儲存到 Android 平台上，在安裝 App 時可留意一下權限需求，也不要在不知名的網站下載檔案等等。
